Peter Leeper MChiro MMCA

Peter Leeper is an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: “It’s a great way to stay in shape and still be competitive in your middle years! Regular McTimoney chiropractic treatments ensure my body copes well with all the associated stresses and strains!” It was Peter’s martial arts’ background that led him to first receiving McTimoney treatments and then onto studying for his Master’s Degree from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic.

Sports-related injuries are a forte with Peter and he has worked as a sports massage therapist for some years prior to becoming a chiropractor. Peter will combine the two types of therapies for a more holistic approach and employ some soft tissue release techniques if needed and will work in any suitable and safe way that is beneficial to the patient.

Peter is also a Practical Tutor at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic.

Peter has been married to Gilly for over twenty years and they have two sons. They were both actors in a previous life, meeting each other when playing husband and wife in a Stephen Sondheim musical in Exeter. Peter is sometimes remembered for playing Malcolm Parrott, the maths teacher in BBC’s Grange Hill.
